Trooper, literally is a ..

Trooper came to our place to be babysat while his caretaker went away for a few days.He had been born at the pet store, and a wonderful woman that works there, took him on to handfeed. Soon they realized that Trooper had some problems, splayed legs; off in two different directions, and club feet besides.I was asked to help out with trying to remedy the situation, and between us, we tried sponge wrapped around his legs, which we then taped together, and supporting him upright in a padded cup..and after trying different things,to no avail, he continued to grow and thrive despite his deformities. While he was here, the store owner called and asked me if I would like to keep him, since he would have special needs for the rest of his life... and so he came to live here amongst the rest of the menagerie. I had him weaned shortly afterwards. I made sure he got his exercise by being placing him down on the floor, where he can move quite quickly, like Charley Chaplin, and he can fly, and has very accurate flight plans..he can leave my lap and fly about 15 feet, across the room, landing on the side of his cage.He and Shiloh, our shi-poo took an almost instant liking to one another, and are bonded friends.
